What a week!

I was going through the photos on my computer and came across the halloween pictures from last year. I love Halloween and this year is going to be so much funner. Just wait until you see little Michael.

It has been a busy week for the Hughes family. After we had Michael, Mike's job started cutting his hours and with being on maternity leave we were unable to afford our home anymore. By December we finally were able to sell it in a short sell. We thought that would take care of that and apartment life would allow us to save so much money. After all the rent was 1/3 our mortgage just about. Ok, we are bairly making it and most of the time not. On Tuesday Mike and I had to make a tough decision to file bankruptcy. Tough decision in that we had worked so hard to have good credit and be able to afford a comfortable life. I know this is the right thing and I know we will be better because of it, but its hard.
We are hoping to be able to afford a home within a year, and I am told with the new Obama mortgage plans for familys coming out of a bankruptcy we should be able to do just that.

Today, our babysitter gave her 1 week notice. Was I suprised, no. Was I stressed, yes. It is really stressful for me to find someone who I can trust watch Michael. But within a matter of hours my Visiting Teacher at church who just so happens to be my back up sitter and my partner in the Nursery offered to take Michael until she has her baby in December. I almost cried. I was bouncing out of my chair at work and thanking God for her. Now Mike and I have a little time to really look for something for Michael. I am actually thinking that I want to just bite the bullet and put him in a license daycare center. I will sacrafice something else to be able to afford this. Crazy since we are in the mist of a "B" but for my little Michael I don't care. -- Jennifer Mann, I LOVE you!!
