Nothing like planning or having EVERYTHING happen during 1 weekend. During the soccer practice on Sunday 2/24 we took team photos and individual photos. We have to retake the team ones because one of the boys was sick and I don't want him to miss out on the pictures. And I didn't realize the background was the parking lot, so I want to re-do them anyway. I think they turned out pretty good. One of our parents was so nice to volunteer to take the pictures with his handy dandy big camera.
Of course one parent had to chime in about the PSA doing team photos at the end of the season. Unlike most coaches I guess, I am mindful of cost(s) and don't want to pay for pictures if we can take them ourselves for next to nothing.
MONSTER JAM
Saturday Feb 23 we had our annual outing to MONSTER JAM at Cowboy Stadium. It was a lot of fun even though there weren't many good drivers there this year. We only did about 45 minutes of the Party in the Pits then the show.
Monday Night RAW w/ WWE
We have become huge WWE fans here at house of Hughes. So when tickets went on sale about 2 months ago I snagged us up some for a fun night. Funny that it was basically the SAME weekend as Monster Jam but what are you going to do. Originally it was just going to be daddy & Michael because I was trying to get ringside, but those tickets didn't go on presale, or if they did I couldn't figure out the website. The tickets were going fast, so after losing out on great seats, I snagged 3 tickets making it possible for mommy to go. We had AMAZING seats and could really see the ring. If you look at this photo with Vince & Paul, we are there. ha, ha - can't you see us?? lol
They built it up the week prior so we already knew there were going to be 2 big fights.
Vince McMahon and Paul Heyman
With a HUGE surprise of Triple H
Then John Cena vs CM Punk
Michael didn't realize this is what the sign said. ha, ha, ha. The other side said THE SHIELD IS NAUGHTY. That is the side he thought he was holding up. I am going to burn in hell. HILARIOUS
Another Hughes family tradition started in 2013. We are going to have to do this EVERY year. It was so much fun and so exciting to see how excited Michael got.
