What a crazy week. Michael & I took Jennifer and Jonah to St. George so Jenn could have her surgery to close her up. Fun times. I took the boys to a place called Jumpin' Jacks. It's a bounce house full of inflateable toys. The kids had a blast.
Michael got sick Thursday night inside a McDonalds and threw up all over our food, so that was my sign it was time go get back to the motel. Poor little guy was burning up and didn't sleep well. I should have known something was up after his 3 hour nap.
You would think that living in a 24/7 town there would be urgent cares all over the place. NOT! Friday night I was a mess trying to find somewhere I could take a very sick little boy. Michael was running a 103.4 temp and I was a mess. I almost took him to the emergency room, but he finally fell asleep and I didn't have the heart to wake him up. By morning he looked horrible. We took Mike to the airport for his trip to Dallas to get us the freak out of Vegas and Michael and I were off to an Urgent Care. 3 Urgent cares later, a yelling match with my insurance and then being told that Michael didn't have insurance (yeah, the guy on the phone was stammering I was NOT very nice) the wonderful folks at UMC treated him and told me to call them when they could bill the insurance. That is going to be a FUN call on Monday.
Michael had a double ear infection. By the time we went to Walmart to get his medicine and got home he looked completley misarable. I gave him his antibiotic and some multi symptom stuff and he was knocked out for FIVE hours. When he awoke he was my happy son again. While we were at Walmart waiting for his perscription to be filled I got him a fun toy. A drum set that had a bunch of other instruments. HE loved it. When he woke up he played with it for hours until bed time. And YES, he slept through from 9pm - 8am.
Michael & I ran to the store tonight, and this is what I saw. Do you think he's relaxing?
