Wild Things

On Saturday, Michael had his very first soccer game with his team WILD THINGS.   I signed him up through Plano Sports Authority - the neighboring town.  Who would have known a simple $65 registration fee would end up being an expensive "hobby" with everything we had to get,  lol but it will be worth it.  Especially after seeing how Michael played.  We had him playing soccer for 3 months at his preschool, and you would NOT even know it.  He was just running around the field.  It was pretty funny.  AND the only goal the other team we were playing scored......... compliments of Michael.   They didn't have their pretty cool team shirts for this first game, so I will post a photo of Michael in full gear when we get it, hopefully by the next game.  (they better have them)

Today his teammates met up at a local park here in Richardson to meet everyone and get a good practice in.  It was pretty fun to watch all the kids and to see the fun Michael was having.  Until the end when they were playing "Monster Ball" and I told Michael I would be his monster and try and get his soccer ball.  He told me I could just keep his ball and went to get his water bottle.   We all busted up laughing at that.

Little does Michael know, I am going to keep him playing soccer for awhile, then I will try  T-Ball then it will be football.  We need to keep this kid ACTIVE.
