Michael turns --- 4

It's hard to believe my baby just turned 4 today.  I remember the day he was born as if it were yesterday.  My little boy is growing up so fast.
I wanted to do some fun cupcakes for his class today.  Something fun, yet easy.  I found the recipe for this online and of course just made it my own.  I think they turned out pretty cool.   I did red velvet cupcakes (box) and placed them in an editable cone bowl.  Drizzled chocolate and topped with frosting from a can.  I was going to do the whipped cream from a can, but was vetoed by Michael.  lol.
Topped with a cherry and a super hero ring.   The kids put sprinkles on their cupcakes and boy did they enjoy!
I was pretty proud of myself.

Part of the class getting ready to dig into those yummy "ice cream" cupcakes.

I actually wanted to get Michael a Innotab for Christmas but budget-wise wasn't able to do it.  So I took advantage of a $75 gift card to Babies R' Us | Toys R' Us that I got when I was pregnant.  Since I am not needing any baby items (right now) I used it to get Michael his Innotab.  HUGE hit!  Michael LOVES this thing.  We gave it to him on Sunday when we celebrated his birthday (a bit early).  We went to see the movie Battleship and then to Michael favorite place - Panda Express.  Boy does that boy EAT when we go there.  I have no idea where he puts it all, but he seriously eats a lot for being a little guy.  Always have when we go there.  Then it was off to bowling.  Fun, fun day.

We are headed out to San Antonio and Sea World this weekend for Memorial  and another fun treat for Michael.  Much deserved after the crappy couple of months in our house.
